airpuls offers open 5G solutions for 5G enterprise networks as well as for research and 5G\/6G prototyping. Our O-RAN-compatible 5G network equipment is highly customizable to the specific use cases of our customers. We largely rely on open source software libraries and allow full access to all parts of the 5G software stack. FOKUS contributes its 5G Playground (Campus Moabit) as a test field environment to 5G Berlin. The 5G Playground integrates various local access networks (WLAN, Small Cells, LTE, 5G NR, satellites) with its own software-based 5G core network (Open5GCore.org). In this network, 5G terminals, network components and various 5G applications (e.g. automotive, manufacturing, safety) can be tested using network slicing or private network concepts. As the coordinator of the use-case group and technology supplier in the fields of optics, wireless and SDN\/NFV, Fraunhofer HHI supports the association in many ways. With a planned indoor LiFi\/WiFi\/4G test field, HHI is testing already developed antennas, radio modules and network technology. The HHI is also involved in the construction and management of the outdoor test field \u2013 not least, it also provides its own equipment.
